As Managing Director and Co-Head for Europe of the Transformation & Change practice group, Patrick Maloney has extensive experience advising companies in complex change situations. From crafting a compelling change story to designing an effective change architecture to developing mobilizing communication formats, Patrick knows how to engage leaders and employees in change. He also has many years of experience in speechwriting and ghostwriting for executives and board members.

At FGS Global, Patrick has advised companies of various industries and sizes in a variety of change situations. These range from M&A transactions to restructurings and culture change to far-reaching transformations. In addition to his extensive expertise, clients particularly value Patrick's strategic foresight, pragmatism, and wordsmithing skills.

Prior to joining FGS Global, Patrick worked for a year as an independent communications consultant and speechwriter. Prior to that, he spent over ten years with increasing responsibility in communications and HR roles at E.ON, most recently as Head of Communications for the international Business Services unit. In this role, Patrick was responsible for internal communications for 3,800 employees in eight countries and supported several change projects.

Patrick holds a Master degree in Business Administration and studied at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt as well as at University College Dublin. He is a regional chapter leader in the German Speechwriters Association and is also active in the European Speechwriter Network. As a father of five, Patrick's change communication skills are certainly in demand in his private life as well.
