HR Officer (part-time)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced and committed part-time (20 - 32h/week) HR Officer at our Brussels Office as soon as possible:

What tasks can you look forward to?

  • You are the first point of contact for our day-to-day HR operations in our Brussels office.

  • You will be working closely with the central HR-team in tailoring all our corporate policies and guidelines to the Belgium market including paying close attention to compliance with local labor law, social security, tax, health and safety and insurance regulations and provide advice on these policies and guidelines to our employees.

  • As part of our central HR Team, you'll be responsible for drafting and creating HR documents and maintaining HR files, general employee relations, payroll preparation and follow-up in cooperation with our tax advisor.

  • In addition, you will also coordinate Belgium-specific global mobility cases together with your international HR colleagues and our external service provider if required.

  • You will process HR related billing and invoices for payment.

What should you bring along?

  • At least three years of relevant experience in HR in Belgium, ideally in an international law firm or consultancy.

  • Preferably bachelor’s degree in administration, business management, psychology/business psychology or comparable training/studies or comparable experience in a similar role.

  • Familiarity with Belgian labor law as well as experience in payroll, social security regulations and related fields.

  • You are fluent in business English, combined with fluent knowledge of French and / or German. Dutch is a huge plus.

  • You have a good understanding and knowledge of the Office 365 environment.

  • You have great organization, listening, communication skills & a problem solving mindset.
