ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a talented Information Technology Project Manager to oversee key technology projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be able to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes. The Project Manager is responsible for the project management of a variety of technology-related projects at FGS Global. Deliver exceptional project management leadership. Develop a project charter, meeting, and reporting cadence. Develop a methodology and framework to keep the senior leadership and the global technology staff informed on all global technology initiatives for all office locations. The role is based in NYC and works with other IT professionals to support the overall needs of the firm and reports to the Global Head of Technology Transformation.
The role is hybrid with a minimum expectation of 3 days physically in the office per week.
Coordinate multiple projects, including detailed project plans, schedules, requirements documents, and status reports.
Drive projects to meet objectives while overcoming obstacles through creative problem-solving, adaptability, and tenacity.
Assist senior leadership managing risk and compliance audit and controls cadence.
Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in projects.
Liaise with business professionals and project stakeholders.
Work with the IT staff to develop, release, update, and deploy technology systems on time and on budget.
Create and maintain solid technology project documentation.
Develop and participate in the computer incident response team efforts (Business Continuity, Cyber planning, etc.).
Assist with the development of a playbook and project management strategy for potential acquisitions.
Communicate and report issues, status, and results to senior management in a timely manner.
Work with senior management to facilitate and identify change management and technology transformation.
BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
5+ years or relevant experience in project management discipline
PMP certification is preferred
Familiarity with Asana, Microsoft Project, Miro, and other PM tools
Experience with Agile framework and SDLC
Working knowledge of various technologies and cloud computing platforms (SharePoint, MS Teams, Networking, etc.)
Deep experience in PM documentation and processes
Exceptional organization, technical, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and identify, execute, and manage related tasks
Solid understanding of IT projects
