Genevieve White

Genevieve leads the firm’s Corporate Reputation & Leadership Strategies practice for Asia and is also a lawyer in finance and corporate law. She is the lead for complex restructurings in Greater China and Southeast Asia and works with clients across the region on corporate positioning and reputation management, IPO, M&A, shareholder activism and crisis situations.

Prior to joining FGS Global, Genevieve was legal counsel at UBS in Hong Kong, where she advised on and oversaw the legal issues and execution of the firm's leveraged finance, special situations, equity and debt capital markets and derivatives transactions in Asia. She was also the principal Asia anti-trust advisor for the bank. Previously, she was a finance lawyer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Linklaters in Hong Kong and London, where she represented a diverse set of clients in Asia and Europe on all types of debt and equity offerings.

Genevieve, who is fluent in Mandarin, earned a Bachelor's degree in War Studies from King's College London and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from The College of Law in London.
