Gloria Labbad is a Partner in the New York office. She designs and executes communications strategies to help clients navigate complex, high-stakes situations.

She works with clients on litigation, crisis planning and support, management changes and other sensitive legal and reputational matters, while also advising on ongoing positioning and media relations.

Gloria leverages her experience as an attorney to design communications plans that take into account nuanced legal issues and she works closely with in-house and outside counsel to ensure that these strategies complement and support the client's legal position.

Recent engagements include: assisting a large media organization with the rollout of their diversity equity and inclusion assessment; counseling a large real estate developer facing workplace discrimination claims; advising numerous companies on collective bargaining negotiations and other labor and employment matters.

Earlier in her career, Gloria practiced in the litigation departments of global law firms Dentons LLP and McGuireWoods LLP. Gloria advised a broad range of clients on all aspects of state and federal litigation. She also served as a judicial clerk to two federal judges, the Honorable Richard A. Jones and the Honorable John E. Steele. As a law clerk, Gloria assisted with the drafting of legal opinions related to all matters on the civil docket.

Gloria earned a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law and a B.A. from the University of California Berkeley.
