A South Florida Native and active D.C. transplant. Malcolm can be found getting involved with several groups in the community or enjoying the next hot spot in Washington.

As a Senior Associate in Finsbury Glover Hering’s Government Affairs Division, Malcolm Sherrod provides administrative, research, and strategic advice to clients seeking to advance their legislative objectives on Capitol Hill and across third party advocacy groups. Based in Washington, D.C., Malcolm works on a range of clients involved in telecommunications & technology, entertainment & arts, sports, financial services and tax.

Drawing from his deep relationships in House Democratic leadership and his experience with the Tri-Caucus in Congress (Congressional Black Caucus, Congressional Hispanic Caucus, and Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus) he assists the firm’s clients to address policy areas that come before these sectors of Congress.

Prior to joining Finsbury Glover Hering, Malcolm worked as a Research, Policy and Analysis fellow at Forbes Tate Partners in D.C. He’s worked in the Office of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) and Congressman Alcee Hastings (D-FL). He’s also completed internships at Signal Group and Brodeur Partners.

A South Florida native, Malcolm graduated from Union College in Schenectady, NY with a BA in Political Science where he was a student athlete on the Football team. Malcolm currently resides in Washington, D.C.
