Miles was senior Partner at Baytree, a corporate affairs and ESG advisory firm he founded after leaving the FTSE 100 real estate developer Landsec in 2019, where he was Group Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Director and a member of the Executive Committee. At Landsec, he was responsible for investor relations, corporate communications, public affairs and ESG. Miles joined Landsec from General Electric (GE) where he was the Head of External Affairs for GE in the UK and Ireland, having spent a decade at the company, originally joining as Head of European Government Relations for the GE consumer finance business. Before joining GE in 2005, Miles spent five years as Director of Public Affairs for the US investment bank Merrill Lynch in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Miles is a trustee of the Institute of Jewish Policy Research, the UJIA and is co-President of the international development charity, Inspirasia. He also serves on the board of the London Bubble Theatre and the SW Trust. A life fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Miles was a founding board director of the Foreign Policy Centre and is a member of the Advisory Board of Regal London.
