Shama Hussain is a Director of Digital Strategy at FGS Global. She works with clients on all things digital, including social media, SEO, reputation management and website optimization.
Prior to joining the firm, Shama managed social media for various brands such as IBM, McKinsey & Company, NBCUniversal and Keeping Up with the Kardashians. She led UN Women's #HeforShe campaign on gender equality, which became one of Twitter's most used hashtags of all time. Her work has been nominated for Webby and Shorty Awards. Shama started her career as an intern in the Obama White House, where she worked in the first ever presidential digital strategy office.
Shama has an MSc in International Security from University College London (UCL) and a B/A in Communications and Media from Rutgers University. She is based in New York City.
