The Challenge

The 2018 Play Smart. Play Safe paid media campaign focuses on pivotal health and safety themes such as rules changes, helmet testing, and player care.

Our Solution

FGS Global focused on producing innovative creative that combined photography, iconography and leveraged videos that highlight key teams, coaches, trainers, and engineers. The campaign included a variety of placements including high-impact digital display, social, pre-roll video and native.

Results

The media plan targeted opinion elites nationally, identified through their online habits as well as individual-level targeting of a list of the 7.5 million most influential Americans. To date, we’ve seen positive results - users who have seen the NFL digital ads are more likely to believe the NFL is part of the solution on player health and safety issues than those who have not seen an ad.
