College Sports Commission - Website
The Challenge
Pending the finalization of a settlement in a years-long anti-trust case, the most powerful conferences in college sports (the ACC, Big 12, Big Ten, Pac-12, and SEC) were tasked with setting up a new enforcement entity to enforce new rules around revenue sharing with student-athletes, student-athlete name, image and likeness (NIL) deals, and roster limits. The conferences engaged FGS Global to run all communications activities on their behalf in the leadup to and following the finalization of the settlement and the launch of the new enforcement entity, the College Sports Commission.
Our Solution

FGS creative studio was tasked with naming and branding the new enforcement entity. The simple name and no-frills branding scheme of the College Sports Commission keeps the focus on the substance of this historic shift in college sports, projecting seriousness and stability. FGS built the Commission’s official website — which launched less than two hours after the settlement was approved — to house important information about the settlement, plans and rules, news and resources, a glossary and FAQ.
