Kristof C-19 Impact Initiative
The Challenge
When the pandemic hit, Nicholas Kristof and his team wanted to pull together their resources and use their platform to present the most effective ways to help.
Our Solution
FGS Global worked with the Kristof team to launch the C-19 Impact Initiative. As we did with the Kristof Holiday Impact Prize, FGS Global helped design a website, logo and share-graphics, as well as created individual communications toolkits for the organizations being recognized, Kristof himself and influencers who helped us amplify on social media (including Alicia Keys).
Results
Since 2019, the Nick Kristof Impact Initiatives have cumulatively raised more than $41 million for deserving organizations with the support of promotion and awareness building via various outreach actions. On Twitter – the original promotional platform for our efforts – there have been over 11K total mentions around these initiatives. While there is likely a significant overlap in the users viewing the tweets over the years, cumulatively, the approximate reach is over 52M Twitter/X users.
