The Challenge
FGS Global worked with Center Forward to help generate attention around the harmful impacts of a complex rule proposed by the Federal Reserve among policymakers, regulators and other DC opinion elites.
Our Solution

Working together, FGS Global helped Center Forward launch an integrated campaign that included strategic communications counsel, government affairs support and a paid media plan. To bring both understanding and awareness to the complex issue, the FGS team created a phased approach to the paid media plan, tiering each flight around a different message strategy. The initial flight focused on general awareness of the obscure issue among the target audience. In sequential flights, FGS doubled down on the rules’ potential impact by highlighting the widespread opposition to it. The FGS creative team developed a range of attention-grabbing ads to run across digital, social, TV, radio and print, all directing back to new landing pages FGS helped develop. The paid campaign ran in conjunction with earned media efforts and government affairs support.

The Results

Testifying before congress in March 2024, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said that the central bank and other regulators would reconsider the plan: “We do hear the concerns and I do expect there will be broad material changes to the proposal.”
