As a Managing Director at Finsbury Glover Hering, Adam Blickstein brings nearly two decades of experience in high-level political, national security, entertainment and corporate strategic communications.
At Finsbury Glover Hering, Adam helps lead the firm’s Entertainment practice where he works with studios, contentmakers, and filmmakers to navigate complex political and policy conversations. Adam specializes in developing strategic campaigns aimed at marketing and credentialing content amongst non-entertainment communities, including liaising with third-party groups such as the military and veteran community and well as influencers and elite media. He works closely with studio leadership on reputational campaigns and crisis communications, leveraging opportunities and anticipating/mitigating risk. Adam has consulted on several TV shows and films, including Madam Secretary, House of Cards, and Miss Sloan, bringing the intricacies of Washington, D.C. to audiences. At Finsbury Glover Hering, Adam has also worked extensively with corporate, defense, non-profit, and international clients, deploying his political and policy experience on high-profile strategic communications initiatives.
Prior to joining Finsbury Glover Hering, Adam served as a Strategic Planner and Public Affairs official in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. As a communications adviser and strategist within the Department of Defense, he played a key role in developing media plans and long-range messaging for several definitive public affairs initiatives.
Adam also worked as the Communications Director for the National Security Network and Press Secretary for Congresswoman Jane Harman (D-CA), Ranking Member of the House Committee on Intelligence. A native of Rochester, NY, Adam graduated from Tufts University with a degree in Political Science.
