As a Consulting Partner on FGS Global’s Transactions and Financial Communication team, Chuck advises global clients on M&A, corporate governance, financial transactions and board and stakeholder issues.
Chuck has over five decades of experience as a M&A and corporate governance lawyer and as an M&A investment banker.
Prior to joining FGS Global, Nathan was partner at Latham & Watkins (2001-2010) where he served as Global Co-Chair of the firm’s M&A practice and as Chair of its Corporate Governance Task Force and became Of Counsel (2010-2012). Earlier in his career, Nathan was a partner at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton and later at Fried, Frank, Shriver Harris & Jacobson. Nathan also spent 11 years in M&A investment banking at Merrill Lynch (1984-1986), Salomon Brothers (1986-1992) where he was a co-head of Domestic M&A and Smith Barney (1992-1994) where he headed the Financial Services M&A team.
Nathan is the author of many articles on M&A and corporate governance topics, is a frequent panelist at M&A and corporate governance seminars and programs and is an adjunct professor at Yale Law School (where he teaches an advanced M&A seminar) and NYU Law School.
