Ge Yu

Ge Yu is a Director in Finsbury Glover Hering’s Strategic Communications Division. He crafts innovative and empirical communication strategies for clients’ reputational and policy successes, with particular focus on international affairs and technology.

Prior to joining FGH, Ge led communications efforts for major global tech and telecom companies, with both in-house and agency experience. He guided China Telecom’s global adoption of the MANRS routing security standards, which the Internet Society praised as “making the Internet better for all”.

Ge is an active member of the AAPI community. He served as the Executive Director of China General Chamber of Commerce-Washington D.C., where he mobilized the business community to help combat hate and prejudice against Asian Americans, promote Asian American heritage and support low-income AAPI families.

Ge has a Master’s Degree in Technology and Security from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a BA in International Politics from University of Wales, Aberystwyth. He lives with his wife and three kids in northern Virginia.
