Jacob Crows is a Partner in the Chicago office. He advises clients across many industries by developing and executing communications strategies for M&A, shareholder activism, leadership transitions and crisis situations, as well as for ongoing corporate positioning and investor relations programs. Jacob also coaches executives for significant public speaking events, including media engagements, on-camera appearances, investor and analyst calls and meetings and other presentations.

Recent M&A assignments include supporting Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company on its acquisition of Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, Regal Beloit on its Reverse Morris Trust transaction with Rexnord's Process & Motion Control segment, GXO Logistics on its spin-off from XPO Logistics and Conagra Brands on the sale of its private brands business, spin-off of Lamb Weston and acquisition of Pinnacle Foods.

Jacob has counseled numerous companies with respect to leadership transitions and has extensive experience in activism preparedness and defense, including engagements supporting clients against Icahn Enterprises, Pershing Square Holdings and Starboard Value.

Prior to joining the firm, Jacob worked at The Abernathy MacGregor Group in New York, a strategic corporate and financial communications firm, where he assisted with a variety of profile raising and crisis management projects.

Jacob graduated cum laude from the University of Miami and holds a BS in Communication concentrating on Public Relations and Psychology.
