Megan Idacavage

Life at FGS Global

As a member of the HR/People team, her responsibilities are many and varied: the Intern Program, internal communications, onboarding, and supporting company culture efforts.

Life Pre-FGS Global

Megan attended elementary school through college in her native North Carolina before eventually joining the Peace Corps, teaching preschoolers, and working in hospitality.

Life Beyond FGS Global

Megan loves to read, travel, watch whatever is on HBO or Bravo, and spend time outside. She lives in Navy Yard with her family.

As Associate Director, HR at FGS Global, Megan is based in the Washington, D.C. office and is responsible for recruitment, management, and programming for the firm’s Intern Program. As a member of the People team, she assists with new hire recruitment and onboarding, internal communications, DEI efforts, and a variety of other HR functions. Megan started her career at FGS Global on the Facilities team.

Megan graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies, including a semester at the Copenhagen Business School. She spent a brief period as a preschool teacher before joining the Peace Corps. As a health volunteer in Namibia, Megan helped to strengthen community centers focused on outreach to orphans and vulnerable children. Prior to joining Finsbury Glover Hering in 2016, she spent several formative, eye-opening years in the D.C. restaurant industry.

In her spare time, Megan tries to maintain a “balanced media diet”- Instagram and reality television with books and podcasts. You can typically find her texting one of her four sisters, or having a drink outside with friends. She lives in the Navy Yard neighborhood of Washington, D.C. with her family (partner Christian and their baby-on-the-way!).
