Zak Tramonti is a Managing Director in the Boston office, where he brings nearly a decade of experience advising clients across a variety of sectors, including financial services, healthcare, education and technology.
Recent assignments include advising Babylon on its merger with Alkuri Global Acquisition Corp., 23andMe on its merger with VG Acquisition Corp. and NCR on its acquisition of Cardtronics. Ongoing corporate positioning and transaction-related assignments include Advent International, Audax Group, Great Hill Partners and InTandem Capital Partners.
Zak has advised clients on multiple high-profile situations and matters, including YogaWorks and BJ Services on their respective Chapter 11 filings, the Special Committee of the Board of Directors of Dell on activist defense against Carl Icahn and sale of the company and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in connection with an independent report to the National Football League concerning issues of player misconduct at the Miami Dolphins.
Earlier in his career, Zak served as an Account Director at BackBay Communications, a boutique branding, marketing and communications agency, where he was a member of the firm's private equity group.
A graduate of Fairfield University, he holds a BA in Communication. He lives with his family in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
