
Washington, DC – October 23, 2025 – FGS Global, the world’s leading stakeholder strategy firm, today announced Douglas Bove has joined the firm as a Managing Director in the Washington, D.C. office. Doug brings invaluable geopolitical and emerging technology policy expertise, bolstering FGS Global’s Government Affairs offering and complementing our established capabilities across geographies and practices.
Doug joins FGS Global from the U.S. Department of State, where he served as a Foreign Service Officer for five years. Most recently, he was a senior advisor in the Office of the Special Envoy for Critical and Emerging Technology and provided intelligence advice and analysis to the Secretary of State as a watch officer with the Bureau of Intelligence & Research at the Department of State.
Doug previously managed the Technology Geopolitics practice at the Eurasia Group and was a senior strategy consultant at Siemens Management Consulting. Earlier in his career, he worked at the U.S. Development Finance Corporation and was selected to be a Princeton in Africa Fellow, where he developed expertise in development finance. He holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD Business School and an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University SAIS.
