FGS Global appoints Focco Vijselaar as new Partner in the Netherlands

The Hague, June 30, 2026 – FGS Global, the strategic leadership advisory, welcomes Focco Vijselaar as a new Partner in the Netherlands. Starting September 1, 2026, he joins the firm's Dutch leadership team, further strengthening FGS Global's integrated offering to clients in the Netherlands and Europe.

Vijselaar joins FGS Global after three and a half years at VNO-NCW, the principal Dutch association representing the interests of large Dutch businesses, where he was Managing Director. In that role, he represented Dutch businesses in their relationship with politics and government. Before that, he held senior positions at the intersection of policy, politics, and business, including at the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. He also previously worked at De Nederlandsche Bank and the European Central Bank in Frankfurt.
