FGS Global welcomes Tim Davie CBE as Partner

FGS Global today announced that Tim Davie CBE has joined the firm as a Partner. Tim will work with FGS Global's Strategy & Reputation team to grow and deepen the firm's CEO and board advisory offer.

Tim served as the 17th Director-General of the BBC from September 2020 to April 2026, leading one of the world's most recognized public institutions through a period of intense public and political scrutiny. During his tenure at the BBC, he also served as Chief Executive of BBC Studios, where he oversaw the merger of the BBC's production and distribution arms and built the business to an annual turnover of over £1.4bn. Before joining the BBC, Tim held senior roles at PepsiCo Europe and began his career at Procter & Gamble.

"Tim brings a depth of experience that is genuinely rare. He has led one of the world's most complex and scrutinized institutions, navigated some of the most demanding moments in modern public life, and built lasting relationships across the U.K. and international business community. As we continue to grow our CEO and board advisory offer, having Tim as part of the team is an exceptional addition" said Faeth Birch, UKMEA CEO, FGS Global

Tim was appointed CBE in 2018 for services to International Trade. He has served as a Trustee of the Tate and the Royal Television Society.

"I've spent my career working at the intersection of public life, commercial pressure, and institutional leadership - and that's exactly where FGS operates. The firm's reputation for advising leaders through their most consequential moments is well earned, and I'm looking forward to contributing to that work," added Tim Davie CBE, Partner, FGS Global

In addition to his role at FGS Global, Tim will also be joining the board of KKR portfolio company Mediawan and continue to be the industry co-Chair of the Creative Industries Council, a joint forum that brings together the UK government and leaders from the creative sectors to boost economic growth.
