
31 January 2025 / Washington, DC – FGS Global (“FGS”), a leading global strategic advisory and communications firm, today announced Rachel Alexander has joined as a Managing Director in the Washington, D.C. office. Alexander brings extensive policy and political expertise to the firm from an impressive tenure advising and representing companies on international trade and tax matters.

Prior to joining FGS, Rachel spent 12 years advising global companies across multiple industry sectors. Most recently, Rachel worked for a global manufacturer in the life science industry as it navigated tax reform, changes to U.S. trade and sanctions policies, international supply chain challenges, and global market access issues.
Rachel also served as the Head of Government Affairs for the Global Business Alliance, a trade association representing international companies invested in the United States. This involved working with tax directors on a range of international tax issues, including Treasury Department regulations, the OECD Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) Project, U.S. tax treaties, and tax legislation on inversions as well as interfacing closely with congressional offices and administration officials.
Rachel began her career on Capitol Hill, where she was a legislative aide handling international trade issues for Congressman Wally Herger (R-Calif.), a senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee. She graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and lives in Alexandria with her family.
