Andréa Richardson Joins The Glover Park Group’s Strategic Communications Practice as Senior Vice President

Leading strategic communications and government affairs firm The Glover Park Group (GPG) announced today that Andréa Richardson has joined as a senior vice president. Richardson will work in GPG’s Strategic Communications division based in Washington, D.C., providing crisis, strategic and corporate communications counsel for a broad range of the firm’s clients.

Richardson comes to GPG from Hilton, where she was the senior director of Multicultural & Diversity Engagement for Hilton’s Corporate Communications and Global Affairs team. In her position, Richardson championed Hilton’s customer engagement, acquisition and retention strategy among targeted multicultural communities. Richardson has more than 18 years’ experience in marketing and communications across the publishing, nonprofit, education, technology, hospitality, finance and retail sectors.

Previously, Richardson was the senior program manager at MarketBridge, Inc., a digital marketing agency based in Bethesda, Md., where she spearheaded the development of campaign strategies for a number of clients in the retail, hospitality, education and technology sectors. She also served as the senior marketing manager at Crain Communications, and held positions at Conde Nast publications and the Better Business Bureau of Metro New York. Richardson is also a seasoned speaker and has received a number of awards and accolades related to diversity & inclusion initiatives. In 2018, she was named to the United Nations’ Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) Global 100 Under 40 list.
