30 August 2022 / Boston, MA, USA – Leading global strategic communications advisory firm FGS Global announced Jim Finkle will be joining as a managing director, based in Boston. Finkle brings extensive cybersecurity preparedness and incident response experience to the firm and will advise a diverse portfolio of FGS Global clients in a variety of crisis and special situations.

Finkle comes to FGS Global from Palo Alto Networks. Prior to that, Finkle spent more than two decades working as a journalist with Reuters News, Bloomberg News, and other media organizations, covering issues from financial markets and corporate news to healthcare, technology, cybersecurity, privacy, and general news. He held a variety of reporting and editing positions in New York, Toronto, Boston, San Francisco, Southern California, Tokyo, and Taipei.
“I spent the bulk of my career as a journalist looking to break news, tell compelling stories and help readers better understand the implications of cyber attacks, deals, government probes, and other complex issues,” Finkle said. “In my new role at FGS Global, I will leverage that experience to counsel companies as they navigate a wide variety of special situations.”
Finkle earned a Master’s in East Asian Studies from Yale University and a B.A. in History from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
