Richard began his career in Republican politics and campaigns, including serving as the Republican National Committee’s Finance Director and subsequently as the Party’s Chief of Staff. Richard transitioned from his role as Chief of Staff at the RNC in early 2023 to serve as a counselor to the Chairman and the Trump Campaign through the 2024 elections. In that capacity, Richard advised the Party and Trump Campaign leadership throughout pivotal moments including: the Milwaukee convention; the general election; the presidential transition; and the Inauguration of President Trump.
