Associate Director or Director (all genders) Crisis Communication
What tasks can you look forward to?
You act as the primary or secondary contact for clients, advising them on comprehensive communication strategies and all aspects of external and internal communications.
You craft compelling narratives for complex crisis situations, assist our clients when they need our help most, and prepare their management boards and heads of communications, helping them get back in the driver's seat.
You work closely with our international teams and colleagues and our other practice groups to develop high-quality solutions for our clients, leveraging shared knowledge, networks, and experience.
You bring fresh, inspiring ideas and innovative communication formats to the table, with a deep understanding of complex situations, when a situation escalates and pressure from the media and the public increases.
You actively network within the media field, engage with key contacts, and support the team in new business activities and pitches, with a particular focus on new types of crises, whether cyber-attacks or misinformation campaigns.
You are a well-versed project manager and excel at mentoring more junior colleagues across our offices, ensuring their personal growth and development, and you contribute to the growth of our Düsseldorf office and crisis team.
What should you bring along?
You have at least five years of relevant professional experience in business journalism, corporate communications, consulting, and/or crisis management.
You have strong analytical skills, sound strategic and tactical judgment, high level of personal commitment, consulting personality, and confident manner.
Your communication skills are on a high level with excellent German and business fluent English preferably through a long stay abroad
You possess an entrepreneurial mindset, a proactive attitude, and strong organizational skills.
You are a team player, highly committed, and professional.
You have excellent people and project management skills, are a natural networker, and interact confidently with relevant stakeholders.
You have a passion for communications and the courage to challenge existing approaches and standards, coupled with the ability to innovate.
