What tasks can you look forward to?

• You serve as the primary or secondary contact for clients, advising them on comprehensive communication strategies and all aspects of external and internal communications.

• You advise CCOs and communication leadership teams in future-proofing their function, comprising strategic requirements, organizational setup, roles, processes, tech stack, and capabilities.

• You guide our clients through the conceptual development of the new setup, enable them to find solutions in joint leadership workshops, advise the CCO on how to get the board’s approval, and support the roll out of the new setup.

• You craft compelling narratives for complex situations, assist our clients with their overall positioning, and prepare their management boards and heads of communications for key milestones, especially strategic shifts and corporate transformation.

• You work closely with our international teams and colleagues and our other practice groups to develop high-quality integrated solutions for our clients, leveraging shared knowledge, networks, and experience.

• You follow, monitor, and understand key political and economic debates in Germany and Europe, providing tailored recommendations to our clients and colleagues.

• You bring fresh, inspiring ideas on ways of working in integrated communications to the table, with a deep understanding of technological developments that matter for communications.

• You actively network within the media field, engage with key contacts, and support the team in new business activities and pitches, with a special emphasis on our future-proof offering.

• You are a well-versed project manager and excel at mentoring more junior colleagues across our offices, ensuring their personal growth and development, and you contribute to the growth of our Berlin office.

What should you bring along?

• You have a master’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a subject related to communications, finance/economics, journalism, or political science.

• You have min. six years as Director in corporate communications.

• You have experience in reorganization and organizational development of corporate communication functions and have had a central role in steering and implementing such projects.

• You are an experienced workshop facilitator and change agent.

• You have worked in various roles across the different communication disciplines and are able to bring this experience to the table.

• You are a quick learner with excellent analytical and communications skills, both spoken and written in German, and you are fluent in English.

• You have a good understanding of the international and German media landscape, with a focus on business and financial media.

• You are able to judge mission critical situations and provide well-informed recommendations for our clients.

• You possess an entrepreneurial mindset, a proactive attitude, and strong organizational skills.

• You are a team player, highly committed, and professional.

• You have excellent people and project management skills, are a natural networker, and interact confidently with relevant stakeholders.

• You have a passion for communications and the courage to challenge existing approaches and standards, coupled with the ability to innovate.
