Key Responsibilities

Asia HR Operations

  • Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day HR-related enquiries from employees and support employees by assisting with their day-to-day HR related requests.

  • Act as a key administrator and super user of the firm’s HR system, ensuring that employee records are well maintained and up-to-date.

  • Assist with the tracking and updating of employee-related charts and materials, including updating employee census and records. Respond to HR related reporting and data requests from senior management and generate reports where relevant.

  • Keep track of team’s leave status for Singapore, Hong Kong and mainland China.

  • Keep track of and help to coordinate the renewal of corporate benefits schemes such as health insurance.

  • Working closely with the Asia COO and the Head of Finance, Asia, liaise with the payroll vendor to ensure any updates to employee payroll related information are processed in a timely manner.

  • Assist the Asia COO with drafting employee contracts and other HR-related documents.

  • Work closely with the Asia COO to manage the end-to-end processing of onboarding and offboarding arrangements for employees in Singapore, Hong Kong and mainland China, ensuring the completion of all relevant documentation.

  • Coordinate with IT to ensure that all onboarding and offboarding of team members is done in a timely and organized manner.

  • Keep track of probation deadline and arrange probation review meetings with the relevant stakeholders.

  • Oversee relevant procedure and liaison with these teams when employees exit, keep track of intern and freelancer contracts.

  • Assist with visa applications and renewals and ensure compliance with local immigration regulations.

  • Coordinate and help to implement HR programs and initiatives, work closely with the Asia COO and the Asia Talent Coordinator to support the smooth running of performance review cycles and talent recruitment processes.

  • Act as a liaison between the regional offices and the central HR department.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and departments.

  • Working closely with Asia COO, help to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of HR-related information to employees.

  • Good working proficiency in English and Chinese language communication skills.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for reporting generations.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
