About the Program

Our Washington, DC office, located a few blocks from the National Mall, is seeking highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented candidates for a fall internship. As an intern in our office, you will have the opportunity to work on FGS Global’s roster of clients across strategic communications and government affairs and gain hands-on experience working alongside our teams of dedicated and talented communications professionals.

Responsibilities include monitoring market-moving news, conducting research, covering Congressional hearings, creating media lists, and supporting account teams as they help a global roster clients navigate strategic communications needs and challenges. Interns will be paid $21/hour, are required to work in-office, and must devote a minimum of 16 hours per week to the internship.

Requirements:

  • Juniors or Seniors in undergraduate program

  • Class schedule that allows full days dedicated to the internship

  • Eagerness and desire to learn

  • Strong writer and editor

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Interest in and enthusiasm for communications and/or government affairs

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
