(Senior) Data Scientist, Intelligence & Engagement

In our Intelligence & Engagement Team, we assist our clients in understanding their stakeholders through quantitative and qualitative data analysis and in reaching them with tailored strategies across all communicative touchpoints, convincing them of our clients' objectives.

(Senior) Data Scientist; Intelligence & Engagement

to support our analytics and research efforts in Europe. You will be an integral part of an energetic group that seeks to set the standards of what actionable intelligence solutions look like in consulting. We combine insight with foresight to provide clients and colleagues with superior advice in moments that matter. Our Intelligence & Engagement unit works alongside the Global Development Team that designs and builds software for inhouse and client applications.

What tasks can you look forward to?

  • Delivering analyses in the areas of stakeholder insights, conversation & media analysis, issues & crisis prediction, campaign & message performance, linguistic assessments and more.

  • Using LLMs, additional machine learning techniques and advanced statistics to solve complex challenges for our clients.

  • Relying on existing platforms and tools to collect and analyze data.

  • Detecting hidden patterns, identifying trends, revealing drivers, predicting developments, visualizing similarities and differences, and otherwise leveraging data to deliver actionable insights.

  • Contributing to designing and analyzing primary research from different sources.

  • Collaborating on the research, planning and development of projects alongside colleagues with complementary skillsets.

  • Supporting new business efforts by delivering data-driven insights.

  • Assisting in the development of presentations, client decks and pitches.

  • Educating and elevating the analytical skills within internal teams.

What should you bring along?

  • Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and a passion for tackling challenging problems.

  • A proven track record in working/leading data projects hands-on while also seeing the big picture and connecting the dots.

  • You have experience with the following tech stack: Unix/macOS terminal, SQL, Python (incl. Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn) Git, Docker.

  • You have worked with API integration of leading LLM providers, such as Anthropic, Google, OpenAI etc.

  • Experience with natural language processing skills, such as topic modelling, clustering techniques, pattern matching, etc.

  • You can translate a business/communications problem into a data analysis approach and break it down into clear, manageable components.

  • You are a team player and you have excellent communication skills. Your English is at business proficiency level.

  • You have experience in working with business stakeholders and helping them to use data effectively.

  • You are willing to acquire additional technical skills to help develop our toolkit and innovate with new solutions.

Nice to Have

  • You have experience in working with BigQuery, Dataform, and/or Looker.

  • You have strong data visualization skills and have used tools such as Tableau, Looker or PowerBI in the past.

  • Experience with predictive modelling.

  • Experience with primary research gathering and/or analysis.

  • Additional language skills.
