Senior Research Analyst

In our Intelligence & Engagement Team, we assist our clients in understanding their stakeholders through quantitative and qualitative data analysis and in reaching them with tailored strategies across all communicative touchpoints, convincing them of our clients' objectives.

Senior Research Analyst

to support our analytics and research efforts in Europe. You will be an integral part of an energetic group that seeks to set the standards of what actionable intelligence solutions look like in consulting. We combine insight with foresight to provide clients and colleagues with superior advice in moments that matter. Our Intelligence & Engagement unit works alongside the Global Development Team that designs and builds software for inhouse and client applications.

What tasks can you look forward to?

  • Designing and delivering multi-modal analyses in the areas of stakeholder insights, reputation assessment, issues & crisis planning, campaign & message performance, business intelligence and more.

  • Using quantitative approaches, such as surveys, alongside qualitative research methods, such as in-depth interviews or focus groups, to generate insights.

  • Leveraging existing tools and vendors to collect and analyze data.

  • Detecting hidden patterns, identifying trends, revealing drivers, predicting developments, visualizing similarities and differences, and otherwise leveraging data to deliver actionable insights.

  • Acting as an ambassador for research and identifying commercial opportunities with colleagues and clients.

  • Collaborating on the research, planning and development of projects alongside colleagues with complementary skillsets.

  • Supporting new business efforts by delivering data-driven insights.

  • Assisting in the development of presentations, client decks and pitches.

  • Educating and elevating the analytical skills within internal teams.

What should you bring along?

  • Strong intellectual curiosity, outstanding critical thinking and a keen passion for tackling challenging problems.

  • A proven track record in leading data projects hands-on while also seeing the big picture and connecting the dots.

  • The ability to run statistical analysis on quantitative, especially perception-based, data.

  • Experience in designing effective and efficient quantitative research approaches.

  • Expertise in moderating and/or analyzing qualitative research, such as in-depth interviews or focus groups.

  • You feel comfortable seeking out commercial opportunities and are adept at designing proposals that match clients’ and colleagues’ needs.

  • You can translate a business/communications problem into a research design and break it down into clear, manageable components.

  • You are a team player and you have excellent communication skills. Your English is at business proficiency level; business proficiency in German is a plus.

  • You have experience in working with business stakeholders and helping them to use data effectively.
