We are looking to strengthen the development team of our product ReputationIQ. You will work with a team of internal and external developers on a tool suite to collect, analyze and deliver data that provide key insights for our clients. You will work closely with the Researchers and Data Scientists from our Research & Insights team. You would complete our team as:
(Senior) Software Engineer (JavaScript/TypeScript) (m/f/d)
What tasks can you look forward to?
Leading the development of a specific product along with Data Engineers
Designing and improving database schemas (prisma, postgres)
Designing and improving APIs of webservices (REST/Graph QL, Node.js)
Deployment and management of web services on Google Cloud (Cloud SQL, Cloud Run, ..., )
Setup of CI/CD and testing (GitHub Actions, JEST, Cypress etc.)
What should you bring along?
8+ years experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least 5 years of experience with server-side technologies
Node.js / Express.js proficiency (or NestJS or fastify)
Experience in REST and/or GraphQL API design
Proven knowledge in Google Cloud Services for web apps (Cloud SQL/ Datastore, GKE, Cloud Run etc.)
Solid understanding of software engineering best practices like GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, testing (JEST, cypress etc.), security (OAuth etc) and documentation
Experience in Postgre SQL
