Team Assistant - Washington, D.C.

FGS Global is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful Team Assistant to be based in our Washington, DC office; this is a hybrid role with at least 3 days expected in-person. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented individual to learn and grow by exposure to and experience with senior leaders in our DC office.  This role will support daily or project-based needs, including travel arrangements, expense processes, calendar coordination and meeting/event support, ensuring seamless operations and responsiveness to meet senior leaders and/or teams’ specific needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to a small group of senior leaders

  • Manage complex calendars, schedule internal and external meetings, and coordinate logistics

  • Help prepare materials for meetings and presentations; conduct basic research

  • Support firm, client, and industry events

  • Support coordination around internal initiatives and team-wide communications

  • Book meeting rooms and coordinate meeting arrangements such as catering and technology support

  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners – including clients or vendors

  • Prepare and submit expense reports as needed

  • Book or assist with travel arrangements as needed

  • Pitch in on other administrative and operations tasks as they come up

  • Respond to requests and shifting priorities quickly and efficiently, often under tight deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of experience (internships can be included) in an administrative or coordinator capacity preferably supporting senior-level professionals

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm and organized under pressure

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment

  • Comfort working independently and managing shifting priorities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and calendar/meeting tools (e.g., Outlook, Zoom, Teams)

  • Experience using technology tools to enhance productivity and streamline tasks

  • A proactive and curious mindset—someone who anticipates needs and solves problems before they arise

In Washington, DC, the base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000—$65,000 USD. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
