Adam Goldstein is a Managing Director in FGS Global’s Government Affairs Division, joining the firm after more than a decade serving in the public and not-for-profit sectors. Adam works with a variety of clients providing strategic political messaging and legislative counsel, focusing primarily on a broad range of health care issues.
Prior to joining FGS Global, Adam led low-income health system transformation for a large academic medical center in New York City.
Previously, Adam served in various roles at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, first as speechwriter to the Secretary, and later as Special Assistant to the Director of Medicaid/Deputy Administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). He also led health policy for a former Congresswoman, a member of Energy & Commerce, during the crafting, debate and passage of the Affordable Care Act. Adam began his career on a congressional campaign, then at FGS predecessor firm The Glover Park Group.
Adam holds a Master’s Degree in Public Management from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Rhetoric from the University of Maryland, College Park. Adam lives with his wife and two children in New York.
