Akash is a Director in the New York office. He primarily advises private capital firms, alternative asset managers, and their portfolio companies on transaction and financial communications, strategic and corporate positioning, crisis situations, and ongoing reputation management. His experience spans several of the world’s largest and most prominent investment firms as well as a range of middle-market and newly established managers.
He has counseled management teams and boards on M&A, shareholder activism, initial public offerings, leadership transitions, government investigations, and other special situations. Akash also serves as a retained adviser to several public firms, private organisations, and high-profile individuals on litigation and other reputational crises.
Akash previously spent two years at FGS Global's London office, where he advised clients across EMEA on financial communications and capital markets matters. He began his career in New York at Sard Verbinnen & Co.
Akash graduated from New York University with a degree in economics and politics, and is fluent in Bengali and Hindi. Born and raised in Singapore, he is now a proud New Yorker and Brooklynite.
