Began career at then-Glover Park Group following a series of internships on Capitol Hill for the Senate Banking Committee, Congresswoman Suzan DelBene (WA-01) and Congressman Joe Garcia (FL-26) after graduating from Georgetown University.
Life Beyond FGS Global
Lived in Washington, D.C. for over a decade before relocating to Seattle (the other Washington!), where you can find her trail running, hiking, and biking around the region on the weekends.
As a Director in the Government Affairs Division, Aleta Greer works on integrated campaigns that involve advocacy, strategic communications and reputational components. Her policy focus is on agriculture, food and nutrition, and the environment, especially the circular economy. She also manages the firm’s PAC.
Prior to joining FGS Global, Aleta interned on Capitol Hill for the Senate Banking Committee, Congresswoman Suzan DelBene (WA-01) and Congressman Joe Garcia (FL-26). She spent much of her time on the Hill researching legislation, drafting letters and memos, organizing constituent tours and learning various shortcuts between the House Office Buildings.
Previously, she also interned for Dow Lohnes Government Strategies and Banco Popular’s Government Affairs office. Aleta graduated from Georgetown University with a double major in English and Government. While at Georgetown, she was the Director of MUG, an on-campus coffee shop, and a member of the Upper Management of The Corp, the largest entirely student-run company in the country.
Aleta lived in Washington, D.C. for over ten years before relocating to Seattle, Washington, where she now resides.
