Life Beyond FGS Global
Spends most of his time with his wife and three sons or volunteering for a local youth association. Enjoys hiking, the outdoors, and CrossFit.
Alex is a seasoned public affairs and corporate communications advisor, who works for Dutch and international companies from all sectors. In recent years, he has focused on Defense, Technology and AgriFood clients and prefers to work with clients where he can combine his joint interests of (Geo)Politics and Communication.
Before joining FGS, he studied Political Philosophy at Leiden University and became national debating champion in 2014. He applied his persuasion skills by teaching the art of influence to politicians, business leaders, and civil servants. In 2019, Alex moved to FGS Global, to help organizations make more impact in a structured way.
Next to his work in public affairs, he is an experienced speechwriter and moderator, and has a deep understanding of Dutch local politics.
Outside of work, Alex is chairman at the local Scouts association and loves to spend his time with his wife and three kids. He can often be found outdoors and likes hiking and camping.
