As a Managing Director, Alex Seiler advises companies on strategic positioning, financial communications, but especially on M&A transactions. Whether supporting buyers, sellers or target companies in public or private transactions or helping corporates in defense situations, Alex provides strategic oversight and counsel based on more than fifteen years of experience.
Currently based in Tokyo, Japan, Alex started his career with the firm in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in 2008. In 2018, he worked in the firm's New York office.
Prior to joining FGS Global, Alex was with the public relations agency Pleon which now belongs to Ketchum. During this time, he particularly advised financial services firms on media relations.
In 2016, Alex completed the executive program "M&A and Corporate Strategy" at INSEAD Business School in Fontainebleau, France. His background, however, is rooted in the humanities and social sciences. Alex holds a degree in Modern German Literature, with minors in Theatre Studies and Political Science, from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany.
