Allison Nielsen

Allison Nielsen is a Director of Strategic Communications in FGS Global’s Washington, D.C. office. She works with a variety of clients, advising on strategic communications, reputation management and best practices. Allison is skilled at media relation, distilling complex ideas into easy-to-understand messages and finding opportunities for clients to make their voice heard.

Prior to FGS Global, Allison led media relations at a trade association, advised on communications and public policy on Capitol Hill and worked as a political journalist in Florida. 

When she’s not working, you can find Allison out on a run in Washington, D.C. and planning the brunch she’ll end her run with, trying her hand at painting and traveling to new places.
