She/Her
Ana is responsible for creating and overseeing bilingual content and managing marketing campaigns to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
Before joining FGS, Ana traveled quite a bit, spending quality time with family and friends. She also gained valuable experience as a digital producer for Telemundo and Fox in Lubbock, Texas.
Ana loves hanging out with her 8-year-old lab, Ola del Mar, and exploring new places while traveling. She is always trying out new recipes, and loves binge-watching a good TV show or reading a good book in a brewery.
Ana Esquivel is an Associate Director at FGS Global. She was born in New York but grew up between Miami and Panama. Ana had always wanted to study journalism, so she followed in her mother's footsteps and went to the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spain.
After graduating, she worked for La Prensa newspaper. She wrote a column called "Jóvenes de Éxito," where she met incredible people from different backgrounds trying to disrupt the world with creative ideas to make it a better place. She was also the editor of a food magazine called "A la Mesa." Ana took a summer course on storytelling at Yale University and completed an online MBA. She moved back to Miami with her lab and worked for an ed-tech startup before moving to Texas to work for a newsroom and finally dipping her toes in the PR world for Prospero Latino.
Ana's purpose has always been to understand every aspect of communication. She strives to comprehend what makes a good story beyond a catchy headline, including the sources, plot, and facts. She believes it is important to acknowledge that we are dealing with humans and their emotions; these intrinsic values add 'oomph' to any written story.
