As a Managing Director at FGS Global’s Düsseldorf office, Andreas Kolbe mainly advises clients in the industrials, logistics and automotive sectors, among others. He focuses on strategic positioning, reputation management and financial communications. Andreas has advised on several multi-billion dollar cross-border M&A transactions and has extensive expertise in developing and implementing integrated communications campaigns, including corporate strategy, executive positioning and media relations.
Before moving into consulting, Andreas has served more than 15 years as a radio journalist. He was business editor at German national public broadcaster Deutschlandfunk, where he gained a deep understanding of the steel, automotive and telecom sectors as the responsible industry reporter. He also served several times as an interim correspondent for ARD German Radio in Prague reporting from the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Andreas holds a Diploma in Journalism and Business Administration from TU Dortmund University of Technology and the University of Cape Town. He loves cooking and running, as well as travelling Southern Africa, preferably as a pilot of a motor airplane.
