Notable assignments include advising Aetna on its proposed acquisition of Humana; Ant Group on corporate positioning; Bayer AG on its acquisition of Monsanto; Belmond on its sale to LVMH; the launch of Commonsense Corporate Governance Principles; Dollar Tree in response to agitation from Starboard Value and Mantle Ridge; Lands' End on executive transitions; Learfield on its merger with IMG College; Livongo Health on its merger with Teladoc Health; Qualcomm on its proposed acquisition of NXP and defense against a hostile takeover attempt by Broadcom; Samsung Electronics on its acquisition of HARMAN International; Strayer Education, Inc. on its merger with Capella Education Company; TEGNA on its proposed sale to Standard General; the Board of Wells Fargo on its independent investigation of retail sales practices; and Zoom Video Communications on positioning and media relations.
Andy began his career on Capitol Hill, serving as a press secretary for the U.S. House of Representatives' Energy and Commerce Committee, and before that, in the office of Delaware's at-large member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Prior to that, he spent time at NBC's Meet the Press, the National Journal Magazine and the Cook Political Report.
Andy received a B.A. in Government from Franklin & Marshall College and an M.B.A. from Johns Hopkins University.
