Becky Nelson is a Managing Director in the firm’s financial services public affairs practice, based in Washington, D.C. office. She supports companies and organizations across the financial services sector, including traditional banks, fintechs and housing finance companies, among others.
As a strategic adviser, Becky helps clients navigate and tackle challenges at the
intersection of business operations, reputation and policy. Recent projects
include leading a coalition advocating for changes to federal housing finance policies; helping a Fortune 10 company defend against an uptick in state regulatory threats
related to ERISA policies; and helping a regional bank manage a reputational crisis.
Becky received her Bachelor’s Degree from the George Washington University, and her Master’s in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown
University. In her free time, she loves cooking, hanging out with friends and visiting National Parks with her husband and three kids.
