Ben Spicehandler

Ben Spicehandler is a Partner in the New York office. He advises managements and boards on communications strategies across a wide variety of domestic and cross-border M&A, shareholder activism defense and preparedness, investor relations, IPO and crisis situations. He also counsels financial sponsors involved in a wide range of ongoing and special situations.

Notable recent assignments include providing support to: SoftBank on its launch of the Vision Fund, Latin America Funds and the SB Opportunity Fund, as well as its investments in WeWork, Arm, and Deutsche Telekom; Sprint on its merger with T-Mobile; ExxonMobil, Avis Budget Group and eBay on shareholder activism defense; Uber on its IPO; Takeda on its divestiture program; KKR on various investments across the United States and Asia Pacific; and Atairos on its investments in Bowlero, Orogen Group, and Learfield, among others.

Ben graduated magna cum laude from Colgate University and studied at Universidad Pablo de Olavide in Seville, Spain.
