Life Pre-FGS Global

Started her career in public affairs in Brussels. Worked at the European Commission as part of the EU's multilateral negotiation team on food safety, and at Gplus Europe, a Brussels-based public affairs firm, where she serviced energy clients.

Life Beyond FGS Global

Hosts a podcast where she interviews successful Italian entrepreneurs and brings some of that American "start-up talk" to her home country. Lover of the outdoors can be found hiking or climbing on the weekend and enjoying the California lifestyle.

Camilla Scassellati Sforzolini is a Managing Director in the Los Angeles office. She joined the firm in London and moved to Los Angeles in January 2021. Since joining the firm, Camilla has provided strategic communications support across a wide variety of M&A, investor relations, SPAC, litigation and crisis situations with a focus on global and cross-border transatlantic mandates.

Camilla's recent notable assignments include advising: TD Bank on its acquisition of First Horizon Corporation; DaVita on an antitrust litigation matter; Oaktree on its investment in Inter Milan; MotorK on its IPO on the Euronext Amsterdam; Lactalis on its acquisition of Kraft's natural cheese business; Rockley Photonics and Babylon Health on their SPAC mergers and listings on the NYSE; Menarini Group on its acquisition of Stemline Therapeutics; Mylan on its merger with Pfizer Upjohn; Fitbit on its acquisition by Google; Shiseido on its acquisition of Drunk Elephant; and Ferrero on a number of acquisitions in North America.

Other notable assignments include: ongoing corporate positioning and crisis management support for Alibaba Group; ongoing corporate positioning and media relations support for Oaktree Capital Management; transaction support for PayPal; investor relations support for CarMax, Greenlane, Dominion Diamond Mines, China Renaissance and Falck Renewables; advising a major international law firm on employee grievance cases; and various other confidential litigation and crisis matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Camilla worked at Gplus Europe, a Brussels-based public affairs firm, where she serviced energy clients such as Gazprom. Previously, Camilla worked at the European Commission as part of the EU's multilateral negotiation team on food safety. Camilla also interned in the communications unit of the European Climate Foundation and worked on climate change communications research funded by the Global Campaign on Climate Action.

Camilla graduated from Johns Hopkins' School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) with a M.A. in International Relations and International Economics with a focus on Environmental Studies and holds a Bsc(Econ) from University College London (UCL) in Economics and Geography. She is fluent in French and Italian.
