Cassandra is a Partner and Head of the Los Angeles office. She is a co-head of the firm's equity capital markets practice and advises clients on a wide variety of IPO, SPAC, M&A, litigation and crisis situations. She partners with companies in moments of transition and to develop long-term corporate positioning and reputation management programs.
Recent assignments include working with Rent the Runway, Vizio, Cue Health and Bumble on their respective IPOs, The Gores Group on its SPAC transactions with Footprint, Polestar, Matterport, Sonder and its $16 billion SPAC transaction with UWM, Luminar on its SPAC transaction with The Gores Group, Planet on its SPAC transaction with dMY, Quibi on litigation matters and the winding down of its business and F45 on its SPAC transaction with Crescent.
Cassandra has advised clients on multiple high-profile M&A, crisis and litigation matters, including JUUL on its $12.8 billion investment from Altria, Sonos on its IPO on the NASDAQ, Snap Inc. on its IPO on the NYSE, crisis support to Wynn Resorts surrounding sexual harassment allegations, litigation support to Sumner Redstone on the petition filed by a former companion; Activision Blizzard on its $5.9 billion acquisition of King Digital Entertainment, Beats Electronics on its $3 billion acquisition by Apple and the launch of its streaming music service Beats Music, and News Corporation on the separation of its entertainment/media and publishing assets.
Previously, Cassandra worked at Alpha Investment Management, LLC, a Fund of Hedge Funds. Cassandra holds a B.A. degree in Philosophy from Kenyon College.
