Chris is a Managing Director in Finsbury Glover Hering’s Transformation and Change and Financial Services teams.
Since joining in 2019, Chris has advised clients on restructuring and change, campaigns and reputation building, and a contested M&A transaction. He loves working on multi-stakeholder projects, helping companies tell their story from the inside out, and building campaigns based on a lived purpose and values. Chris’ client experience includes a range of listed and private organisations, such as Aviva, BAE Systems, Capgemini, Costa Coffee, Monzo and Visa.
Prior to Finsbury Glover Hering, Chris was Head of Communications at Tesco Bank and a member of the Tesco Group Communications leadership team. At Tesco, Chris supported the bank through a number of high-profile issues including a major cyber-attack, regulatory review and remediation, national consumer campaigns and organisational change. Latterly he was also a member of the Transformation Office. Additionally, Chris has a wealth of political experience having advised the Scottish Government on two significant transformation projects, including the creation of the Scottish National Investment Bank, and working in the House of Commons as a researcher to the SNP Westminster Leader.
Chris is a passionate advocate of social and economic inclusion through The Prince’s Trust and he is Trustee of the National Galleries of Scotland. Chris graduated in history from the University of Glasgow, where he served as president of the university union.
