CJ Lin is a Director in the Los Angeles office. He partners with a range of public and private companies on complex situations involving crises and issues management, litigation, financial transactions, executive transitions and cybersecurity incidents, as well as corporate profile raising and long-term positioning, including ongoing media and investor relations programs.
Notable assignments include advising Dexcom on IP litigation against Abbott, UC San Diego Health on regional hospital acquisitions and a variety of communications initiatives for Zoom and Grab.
Previously, CJ was an Account Director at Brunswick Group in Singapore where he worked with Asian and global companies, especially in the financial services and healthcare sectors, to provide strategic communications counsel on corporate positioning, cross-border transactions, issues management and stakeholder engagement. While at Brunswick, he helped to establish the firm's healthcare practice for Southeast Asia and in 2019, Brunswick seconded CJ to Open For Business, a non-profit organization using economic research to promote more LGBT+ inclusive societies around the world. As Open For Business' in-house communications lead based in Washington, D.C., he helped to build the communications function for the organization and strengthen engagement with key stakeholders.
CJ started his career at Kreab Gavin Anderson in Singapore, where he provided corporate and financial communications support to Asia-based companies.
CJ holds a Bachelor of Business Management in Finance and Corporate Communications from Singapore Management University. He speaks English and Mandarin.
