Leads a digital strategy team, solves problems, simplifies the complex, and never lets the truth get in the way of a good story.
Worked at a Democratic media consulting firm, moved an airport, sold swampland in Florida, and traveled around the world with his wife and two children.
That’s something you’ll just have to ask.
Craig James is a Partner at FGS Global where he leads a digital strategy team that focuses on owned and paid media campaigns, including advertising, content development, social media, and analytics. Craig is dedicated to simplifying the complex. He has developed integrated campaigns to educate, persuade and move to action. He has worked across a wide range of industries, including financial services, health care, real estate, technology and aviation.
Craig began his career working in politics. He spent more hours than he can remember in dark edit suites, producing political ads for the Democratic media firms Squier-Eskew Communications and Grunwald, Eskew & Donilon. He has also worked on political campaigns in Australia and New Zealand.
After making the transition to corporate communications and advocacy, he worked for several agencies including Bozell
Eskew and Powell Tate and spent a decade as an independent consultant before joining The Glover Park Group in 2009.
For ten months during 2008-09 Craig traveled around the world with his wife and two children, visiting 17 countries and crossing 40 borders. The family documented their adventure at The Wide Wide World.
Craig has a BA from Swarthmore College and an MA in Communications from the University of Maryland.
