Dan Abernethy is a Managing Director at FGS Global, where he focuses on corporate communications, reputation issues and investor relations strategies for clients in the technology, media and financial services sectors, among others. He has worked with organizations on a range of financial communications issues including M&A, litigation and crisis situations, and also has significant experience developing and executing proactive media campaigns. Prior to joining legacy Finsbury in 2019 he spent over a decade at Sotheby’s, most recently serving as Vice President, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications where he was focused on the auction house’s effort to shift its investment proposition from a consumer to a technology stock, having previously held a series of global media relations positions at the firm. Dan received a BA in Politics from Durham University and started his career in UK politics working for Ed Vaizey MP.
